The purpose of this meeting is to vote on a proposed change to the By-Laws. The specific change is to Chapter V, Board of Governors Section 1(a), which states:<br />To be eligible to hold any office or membership on the Board, a person must have been a member of the club in good standing for at least one full year prior to taking office.<br />The Chair of the Nominating Committee has proposed that the waiting period be changed to six months from one year. The BoG has unanimously approved this proposal at the June BoG meeting.
